What is Winedle?
Winedle is a free daily word game for wine lovers, made by WineLikes. Like Wordle, you have six tries to guess a hidden word — but every answer is a 5 to 7 letter wine word: grape varieties, wine regions, tasting notes and cellar terms.
How to play
- Type a word and press Submit.
- Purple means the letter is in the correct spot.
- Light purple means the letter is in the word but in the wrong spot.
- Gray means the letter isn't in the word.
- Solve it in six guesses or fewer — faster solves earn more points.
A new game every day
Everyone plays the same word. New games start at 12am PST. After you finish, you'll see the word's meaning, can post your initials on the daily and all-time high score boards, and share a spoiler-free score picture with friends.

Wineries, shops and wine fans can sponsor a day's word for $1. The sponsor's message appears to every player once they finish the puzzle. Sponsor a word.
